MELODY SEYMOUR (B.POD)

Melody gained her qualifications at Newcastle University in 2013 and spent her early career in two prominent podiatry clinics gaining valuable and diverse experience. Noticing that there was a shortage of podiatric services in the Hawks Nest region she began her business in 2016. Following this successful venture, Mel branched out to include the Williamtown and Tanilba Bay to her services.

Melody strives to keep up to date with all the latest research and enjoys attending conferences and group meetings to continue her professional development. She has great attention to detail and enjoys helping her patients become pain-free and comfortable. Mel cares for all aspects of podiatry; from peadiatrics, biomechanics, a painful corn! or an uncomfortable ingrown toe nail.

Melody's special interest in the prevention and management of the 'the Diabetic Foot' and biomechanics, saw her spending a large proportion of her university practical placement in Far North Queensland (Cairns Diabetes Centre) and Alice Springs Base Hospital.
